Terms of service

These terms cover your use of GMVify Free Gift & BOGO (shown in your Shopify admin as GMVify Free Gift, “the app”), provided by Vitamin Creative Lab Limited (“we”, “us”), as a merchant who installs it on a Shopify store. GMVify is a brand of Vitamin Creative Lab. By installing the app you agree to these terms. Shopify’s own terms still apply to your store and to how Shopify bills you.

What the app does

The app gives shoppers the free gifts you set up, makes them free through a Shopify discount only while the cart qualifies, stops checkout when a gift no longer qualifies, can copy a personalization from the item that earned a gift to the gift, and shows analytics about your gifts. How we handle data is in the privacy policy.

Plans and billing

Current plans, prices, their limits and any free trial are shown on the app’s Shopify App Store listing and in the app. Shopify bills paid plans with your Shopify invoice. You can change plans or uninstall at any time; uninstalling stops future charges. If we raise a price, we tell you before it applies.

A plan’s limits are listed with it. When a store goes over a monthly limit, the app tells you in the admin. If the store is still on that plan the next month, new gifts pause until you change plans; gifts already in carts still check out. Development stores can use every feature free.

Your campaigns

You decide the products, gifts, rules and texts in your campaigns, and you are responsible for them being correct and lawful, including taxes and any promotion or consumer rules where you sell, and for fulfilling the gifts in your orders. Check a campaign in your own cart before you rely on it.

Your content

Names, photos and other personalization your shoppers enter belong to you and your shoppers. You’re responsible for having the rights your business needs to use them on the products you sell. The app only copies them from one cart line to another. You may not use the app to collect content that is illegal, infringes others’ rights or is malicious.

Availability and changes

We work to keep the app running and fast, but we can’t promise it will never be interrupted. Themes, other apps and Shopify’s checkout can affect how gifts show in a cart. We may change or improve features; if a change takes away something you rely on, we’ll tell you ahead of time.

Liability

The app is provided “as is”. As far as the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or orders, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us for the app in the 12 months before it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law doesn’t allow us to limit.

Ending

You can stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. Shopify asks us to delete your store’s data 48 hours after you uninstall, and we do. We may suspend or end access for a store that breaks these terms, after telling you why, except where the law or an urgent risk to others requires us to act at once.
