Getting started

1. Install GMVify Free Gift & BOGO from the Shopify App Store and open it from your admin.
2. Turn on the GMVify Free Gift app embed in your theme. The setup guide on the app’s home page opens the theme editor with it ready to save.
3. Add the GMVify Free Gift block to your product page to show your offers there. No theme code to edit.
4. Create a campaign: pick its type, the products that earn the gift, the gift itself, and whether it’s added automatically or chosen by the shopper.
5. Add a qualifying product to your cart to see the gift.

Common questions

What kinds of campaigns can I run?

Four: buy X get Y, BOGO (buy one, get one), a gift for spending a cart total, and a gift for buying a quantity. Each can cover chosen products, collections or the whole store, and can be scheduled or paused.

Can shoppers choose their gift?

Yes. A campaign either adds the gift to the cart automatically or lets the shopper pick from the gifts you offer in a gift picker.

How do personalized gifts work?

When the item that earns the gift carries a personalization, such as a name or photo, the gift can copy it. Choose which entries to copy in the campaign; they show on the gift line in the cart and the order, so the order is ready to produce.

Can a shopper check out with a gift they haven’t earned?

No. The gift is free only while the cart qualifies. If a gift no longer qualifies, or would be charged, the app’s checkout rule stops checkout and asks the shopper to update their cart.

The gift doesn’t appear in the cart

Check that the app embed is turned on in your live theme, that the campaign is active and scheduled for now, that the cart meets its rule, and that the gift product is in stock and available on your online store. When several campaigns fit a cart, their priority and stacking settings decide which ones give gifts.

What does analytics show?

Gift orders, revenue from gifts, gifts given, gift cost, and the average order value of orders with a gift compared with the others, for each campaign. The first time you open it, the app reads your last 60 days of orders.

How do I remove GMVify Free Gift?

Uninstall it from Settings › Apps in your admin. It adds no code to your theme. Gifts stop at once, and our records are deleted as described in the privacy policy.
