Terms of service

These terms cover your use of GMVify Post Purchase Upsell (shown in your Shopify admin as GMVify Post Purchase, “the app”), provided by Vitamin Creative Lab Limited (“we”, “us”), as a merchant who installs it on a Shopify store. By installing the app you agree to them. Shopify’s own terms still apply to your store and to how Shopify bills you.

What the app does

The app shows the offers you set up to buyers right after they pay, adds the items they accept to the same order through Shopify, writes the buyer’s personalization to that order, and can show a one-time discount code on the thank-you page. How we handle data is in the privacy policy.

Plans and billing

The app has a Free plan with every feature up to an upsell revenue limit in each 30-day period, and a paid Unlimited plan without the limit. Current plans, prices, the limit and any free trial are shown on the app’s Shopify App Store listing and in the app. Shopify bills paid plans with your Shopify invoice. You can change plans or uninstall at any time; uninstalling stops future charges. If we raise a price, we tell you before it applies.

Upsell revenue counts the items added on the post-purchase page, net of refunds and leaving out cancelled orders, in 30-day periods from your first install; reinstalling doesn’t reset them. When a store on Free goes over the limit, offers keep showing for the rest of that period and we remind you. If the store is still on Free in the next period, new offers pause until you upgrade. Development stores can use every feature free.

Your offers

You decide the products, discounts, shipping and texts in your offers, and you are responsible for them being correct and lawful, including taxes and any consumer rules where you sell, and for fulfilling the items buyers accept. Check an offer with a test order before you rely on it.

Your content

Photos and text buyers enter belong to you and your buyers. You’re responsible for having the rights your business needs to use them on the products you sell. The app only reads them to show an offer and write them to the order. You may not use the app to collect content that is illegal, infringes others’ rights or is malicious.

Availability and changes

We work to keep the app running and fast, but we can’t promise it will never be interrupted. Shopify decides when its post-purchase page appears and for which payment methods, so not every order will see an offer. We may change or improve features; if a change takes away something you rely on, we’ll tell you ahead of time.

Liability

The app is provided “as is”. As far as the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or orders, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us for the app in the 12 months before it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law doesn’t allow us to limit.

Ending

You can stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. Shopify asks us to delete your store’s data 48 hours after you uninstall, and we do. We may suspend or end access for a store that breaks these terms, after telling you why, except where the law or an urgent risk to others requires us to act at once.
