Getting started
- Install GMVify Post Purchase from the Shopify App Store and open it from your admin.
- Create an offer: start from a template (personalized re-buy, buy another one or cross-sell from a collection) or from scratch, pick the product and discount, and choose which orders it shows for.
- In Settings › Checkout, under Post-purchase page, choose GMVify Post Purchase and save. The setup guide on the app’s home page opens that setting for you.
- Place a test order: the offer appears right after payment, before the thank-you page.
Common questions
The offer doesn’t show after payment
Check that GMVify Post Purchase is chosen under Post-purchase page in your checkout settings, that the offer is turned on and scheduled for now, and that its rules (products, collections, tags, order total, item count or country) match the order. Shopify doesn’t show a post-purchase page for every payment method or order; those orders go straight to the thank-you page.
Where do I see what the buyer entered on an added item?
On the order in your admin: the order note and the order’s metafields hold the photo link or text, and the order gets a tag. Shopify’s Order edited email and packing slip don’t show it on their own; the app gives you a snippet to paste into each, under Emails and packing slips.
Can I show more than one offer?
Yes. Each offer can have a second step for buyers who accept and a lower one for those who decline. When several offers fit an order, you set which one wins. The thank-you page can show its own offer with a one-time discount code for a new order.
How does the Free plan’s limit count?
Only items added on the post-purchase page count, net of refunds and leaving out cancelled orders, in 30-day periods from your first install; reinstalling doesn’t reset them. If you go over the limit, offers keep showing until the period ends and the app reminds you. If you’re still on Free in the next period, new offers pause until you upgrade. The limit itself is on the app’s listing and Plans page.
How do I remove GMVify Post Purchase?
Uninstall it from Settings › Apps in your admin. It adds no code to your theme. Offers stop at once, and our records are deleted 48 hours after Shopify confirms the uninstall; the personalization saved on your orders stays with them. See the privacy policy for details.
